An Occupational Therapy: Hand Therapy Awareness Cum Screening Program was successfully conducted at the Sri Ramachandra Rural Health & Training Centre (RHTC), Voyalanallur on June 18th 2026, with the aim of creating awareness and promoting early identification of hand-related functional concerns.The program benefited approximately 50 patients, along with caregivers and centre staff, through screening, awareness sessions, and guidance regarding Occupational Therapy services. Suitable referrals were obtained for further Occupational Therapy follow-up and continued care.Awareness handouts were distributed among all participants to enhance understanding of Hand Therapy and its role in improving functional independence.The initiative was carried out with the valuable support and guidance of the institution, contributing towards strengthening community-based Occupational Therapy services.
