Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Occupational Therapy (SRFOT) successfully hosted a comprehensive Hand Symposium on 16th June 2026 at the Dental Basement Auditorium, SRDC, SRIHER (DU), in continued commemoration of Hand Therapy Week 2026. This academic milestone provided a vital platform for undergraduate, postgraduate students, Interns & Ph D Scholars to gain valuable clinical insights into advanced hand rehabilitation and specialized recovery protocols for athletes.
The event featured an exceptional lineup of guest speakers who shared their expertise on the evolving landscape of Occupational Therapy. Dr. Marudhu S (OT) delivered an impactful lecture on “Evidence Based Rehabilitation following Flexor Tendon Repair,” while Dr. Mohamed Sameer Z (OT) explored technological advancements in “Virtual Reality in Hand Rehabilitation: Transforming the Future of Hand Therapy.” Furthermore, Dr. Sowmiya R (OT) shared profound insights on “Restoring Function, Restoring Lives: Occupational Therapy in Hand Rehabilitation,” and Dr. Yashwanth S P (OT) guided students through “OT 2030: Navigating Future Careers in Hand Therapy and Musculoskeletal Sciences.” we thank all the UG, Intern, PG students & Ph.D Scholars whose active and enduring participation made this symposium a tremendous success.
